Hurlston Hall
Hurlston Hall is a brand new parkland course situated in Scarisbrick near Ormskirk. It opened some 3 years ago on land reputed to be haunted.
Originally farmland, it is a gentle undulating course designed by Donald Steel and characterized by wide fairways and big greens, with opportunities for the big hitters to chance their arm by taking the short route over decidedly nasty hazards including water and characterized above all, by a feeling of spaciousness affording panoramic views.
It is a plc and not a members club but the right balance is being struck between its commercial aims and the aims of its members, all of whom have equal rights in both clubhouse and course
