Mossock Hall
To most of us the dream of having our own golf course remains just a dream. But the dream came true for the owners of Mossack Hall. Indeed, they chose the land for it, contributed to its design in conjunction with a golf architect and masterminded its construction. It is located a few miles south of Ormskirk in Bickerstaffe and is located in a delightful rural setting offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

It is, however a new course - only some three or four years old.

It still needs to mature but is proving to be a fine test of golf. The par-3 11th is a picture hole, the favorite of the owners. The clubhouse is a converted Lancashire barn which is steadily gaining a reputation for its quality fare. The club is also building a reputation for hosting pro-am celebrity golf events to raise money for charities, especially cancer research.
